IT Helpdesk Engineer
|Salary||£16,000 – £18,000|
Smart IT require an experienced First Line / Helpdesk engineer to assist our customers with IT issues remotely from our office in Gateshead.
You will be responsible for assisting our customers with IT support requirements by finding solutions to problems remotely from our office in Gateshead. You will work closely with members of the team to provide technical expertise in handling IT issues for customers along with special projects as assigned.
At times you may also be required to provide onsite support to our customers in the North East.
This would suit a skilled and capable individual wishing to progress their career in IT and become a 2nd/3rd line field engineer in a fast growing North East based IT and Telecoms company.

Successful candidates are expected to have proven track record of providing a high-level of customer satisfaction and ability to meet service level agreements. The role will suit someone with a solid understanding of desktop, application, network & server support.
