Congratulations to Anthony Crawford for passing 4 MTA’s (Microsoft Technology Associate exams) in just 2 weeks – a fantastic and rare achievement.
Microsoft Certifications are considered to be among the best, most recognised qualifications in the IT industry, but they’re by no means easy to achieve. Training for a professional Microsoft Certification can take years, often students resit Microsoft exams 3, 4 or 5 times before passing. So you can imagine how shocked we were when Anthony’s tutor contacted us to let us know of his achievement.
Anthony has made some remarkable progress both within his role at Smart IT and within his course at QA Training, and this has not gone unnoticed. Tutors at QA were so impressed by Anthony’s progress that he has now been put forward for the Microsoft Apprentice of the Year 2013!
The Microsoft Apprentice of the Year Award 2013, now in their second year, are designed to recognise and celebrate the hard work and excellence of the thousands of Microsoft-backed apprentices. The award is a major achievement, last year the awards were held at the Houses of Parliament where apprentices met David Cameron and Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft for Microsoft’s Get On!
Anthony is now working towards completing an MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist), before completing his final part of the Apprenticeship – the MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional). After completing his MCITP we look forward to offering Anthony a position as a First Line Engineer with Smart IT.
