On Monday, 29th August, our MD Tony Wilson jumped 10,000 feet from an Airplane to raise money for Maggie’s Cancer Support charity.
The jump was the eighth attempt to jump, unfortunately typical bad weather had prevented Tony and Louise jumping but good weather on summer bank holiday meant there was no turning back and the jump went ahead.
Friends, family and colleagues have been very supportive helping raise £1,500 for Maggie’s Centre, a charity close to the hearts of Tony and Louise after Louise was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.
Tony MD said “The Jump took place at Peterlee Parachute centre, the staff were great. Naturally we were very nervous, we’ve never jumped out a plane before, but our instructors reassured us and before we knew it we were falling 130 miles per hour to earth. I would like to thank all our friends, family and colleagues for their kind donations.”
If you would like to donate something to the skydive, Tony and Louise have setup a just giving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Louise-Wilson38.
